We hope that the fossil fuel industry follows the way of the tobacco industry.
By convincing the creative industry to stop working for fossil fuel companies, the ability of fossil fuel companies to deceive society is limited. If we manage to get Publicis, one of the “Big Four” global PR agencies, to change their behaviour regarding fossil fuel clients, this will send a strong signal to the whole PR and advertising industry.
The whole PR industry will hopefully consider the risks before accepting fossil fuel companies as clients. We are confident this will be an important step in stopping fossil fuel companies from greenwashing their activities.
